Worth seeing:
Many times you see wonderful built models, funny or spectacular videos or just funny things. I want to use this place to share those things with you.
I think it's quite normal that every model plane builder also likes to fly on the computer with fligh simulators. Some time ago I bought, as technic freak, a Google Cardboard to use it with my Sony Xperia Z1. Now I found out, that with a small software, called TrinusVr, this Cardboard can be used as Virtual Reality headset with headtracking in X-Plane 10.
Now, that's really cool! here you can see a small video of how it is working:

Normaly I've finished with the plastic model kits from Revell when I was a kid. But when I've seen this beautiful RNLAF F-16 from the dutch Demo Team I could'nt resist...
After about 60 hours of nerve-racking smallest work where I should have used sometimes the magnification glasses it is done now. Looks good, or?

My father got deep inside his cellar and found something very special. An about 20 years old scratch built version of a flying wing named "Skybird". This is one of the few really "only" flying wings without any rudder, winglets or fuselage.
Of course there was no long discussion about to get out the piggyback device for my Piper and so I also collected some more flying hours with that.
I only can advise to see something like that flying in real, its very impressive and something very special.
PS: Of course we also towed his old WIK Salto...

Today was such a beatiful day, so Herbert took his 3.5m Swisstrainer and towed all the day. If he procedes that way he will get a liftboy uniform from the club ;). Thank you very much for your effort!
Our neighbor club, the UMFC Maria Buch, had on the 17.08.2013 is 40th years celebration and invited us to fly there. of course we did that and so I got there with my Radjet and my Salto. There where many worth seeing models and also the weather was unbelieveable beautiful.
With my T-Rex 500 and the mounted 808 #16 I filmed our club a little from above and also a colleague while flying.
Once again a really beautiful weekend!
